Network testing as a foundation for service assurance

Anritsu acquired NetTest nine years ago to expand its offerings beyond test and measurement instruments to service assurance. In this video, Neil Tomlinson of Anritsu discusses the company’s strategy for approaching the service assurance market by building on its early familiarity with new technologies and network deployments through its network testing solutions.
“As technology evolves, we’ve got very early visibility, which we then bring into our service assurance products and we leverage that as we go forward,” said Tomlinson.
He added that for service assurance, flexibility in reporting is important to carriers so that data can be tailored for different purposes, including marketing, customer care or operations.
