Tapjoy’s alternative payment platform helped Glu improve Gun Bros’ monetization rates, while its app distribution network provided scalable and effective promotion.
Nuance Communications Inc., announced that its missed call messenger voice-to-text platform now powers Movistar Spain’s Llamadas Perdidas. Movistar’s Llamadas Perdidas is a voice-to-text services that enables its subscribers to receive transcribed voice messages via SMS text message when call recipients can’t be reached or do not have voicemail. It uses Nuance’s Missed Call Messenger service, which is built on Nuance’s powerful voice-to-text platform, currently deployed with mobile operators around the world. LogNet Systems, provider of customer management and billing solutions, announced that the company has been selected by V.R.M. Voizplus Limited in Thailand to deploy a multiple play customer management and billing solution. The multiple play solution to be implemented by LogNet Systems will be based on the MaxBill product suite and will unify Voizplus’ customer management and billing activities.The deployment of MaxBill will replace a number of standalone legacy systems previously used by Voizplus. Pacnet, Asia’s independent telecommunications service provider, and the Chongqing municipal government announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to jointly develop an international cloud computing hub in Chongqing. According to the MOU, Pacnet and the Chongqing government will build leading-edge data centers to facilitate the development of an IT hub to support industry and economic development in the region.
