LONDON-Datatec International, the global arm of networking and information technology services group Datatec, has agreed to purchase U.K.-based telecom consulting firm Analysys Ltd.
The companies have created a new company called Analysys Mason. AMG will become the umbrella brand for a more far-reaching consultancy offering, which will include the businesses of both Analysys and Datatec’s existing telecom group, Mason Group, said the companies.
Datatec is funding the $23.4 million acquisition with cash, including some of the proceeds from its sale earlier this year of its Logicalis operations in Australia and New Zealand.
